Hangeng releases poster for upcoming solo concert in Beijing!

This news will definitely generate a mixture of emotions from fans – it’s been announced that Super Junior’s Hangeng, who has been embroiled in controversy regarding his contract with SM Entertainment for the past few months, will be holding his very own concert in Beijing, China this July!

Last month, officials revealed that Hangeng would be releasing a solo album in Mandarin, so this will mark the next big milestone of his still-blooming solo career. With the words “Hangeng/庚心 (Geng Heart)” boldly written on the left, the poster reveals that the concert will take place on July 17 & 18 at the Beijing Exhibition Theater (北展剧场) at 8PM with tickets ranging 380 yuen ($50 USD) to 1680 yuen ($250 USD). This two-level amphitheater, which is part of the Beijing Exhibition Center in Xizhimen, is one of the largest in the city with 2700 seats and has hosted famous domestic & international productions ranging from classic ballets to Chinese folk dance.

Seeing Hangeng taking so many opportunities without his bandmates of Super Junior is probably bittersweet for many ELFs and Hangeng fans… what do you guys think?

Hangeng's Lawsuit is Not Over Yet

On 13June,2010, Korea SME sternly responded the case of Hangeng, which many people thinks that the lawsuit as came to an end. SME stated that: Contract of Hangeng has not yet been terminated, he’s still under SME. All the activities of Hangeng had to yet undergo SME’s permission and authorization.

The case of Hangeng’s contract termination had caused a big chaos in the entertainment industry. Ever since the commotion settled a bit, Hangeng’s whereabouts has always been secret. After making a quick appearance in America, there had been rumors saying that he is leaving the group and planning to establish a dancing studio with Jay Chou. Moreover, fans had been debating over Hangeng’s case, spreading the news of the unfair treatments provided by SME to Geng, as well as analyzing the future routes of Hangeng, stating that the fans will support him forever.

The response given out by SME today was very stern, stating that Hangeng isn’t freed yet. Undoubtedly, this will be like throwing a heavy bomb to the contract incident, pulling Hangeng, who has been facing lots of uncertainties, back to the whirlpool of chaos. However, Hangeng does not agree with his company, saying that “it’s usual to see K-pop entertainers terminating contract with their companies, if it’s for those who plan to work on his own, it’s really okay.

Stakeholders said that, under the current situation, Hangeng has been secretly working for his new album as well as the arrangements of his performance, and will have a new start in this July. Besides that, Hangeng will be entering the filming industry, and will be appearing on the silver screen soon.

From these, we can see why SME is that concern over Geng’s case, having two different opinions from each side, Hangeng decides to put away the lawsuit case behind, and putting all his effort into his own career. It seems that to exchange his freedom, Hangeng will need to walk the long and arduous journey in front of him.

im getting confused now. but,im going to follow the news and to make it sure about hangeng's lawsuit case.

Hankyung’s music video for 2010 Asian Games

We haven’t heard much about Super Junior’s Hankyung since he spoke to the public for the first time back in March, after filing a lawsuit against SM Entertainment.

Fans were afraid that Hankyung would stop singing for good due to lost contact since his departure from Korea. Well, fear no more! Hankyung was chosen to sing a duet with Chinese singer Zhou BiChang (also known as Bibi) for the 2010 Asian Games.

With the release of their music video entitled Having Me As Luck, Hankyung has been causing a positive stir in the Chinese music scene, as well as relieving many ELF’s who were worried about the Super Junior member.

Check out their official track for the 16th Asian Games, which will be held this November in Guangzhou, China.
