Taemin vs. Gahee have a Michael Jackson dance-off on Star King

During the recording of SBS 'Star King' on the 24th, Taemin of SHINee and Gahee of After School made a special tribute to the "King of Pop" himself.

Although Michael Jackson, one of the biggest pop icons in modern history, recently passed away at the age of 50, his legacy continues to linger in the hearts of music lovers--a crowd that includes Taemin and Gahee.

Coordinated in black suits, the male group performed to the 1987 hit, Bad. In particular, Taemin led the song and imitated Michael Jackson's trademark moves such as the moonwalk and leg kick. After the performance, MC Kang Ho Dong remarked, "How much must he have practiced to dance this flawlessly?" Taemin shyly replied, "I really like Michael Jackson and eventually came to respect him for his live performances that were always new and different."



On the other hand, Gahee showcased her sex appeal and powerful moves while dancing to Dangerous. The celebrity spectators were moved by her performance, exclaiming in unison, "She is rightfully the leader of After School."

Replicating Michael Jackson's singing and dancing is nothing short of a mission impossible. While a couple of K-pop idols may not be able to beat it the original, it should still be a thriller thrilling to watch them try.

This episode of 'Star King' will air on the 26th.
